Four killed, five injured in road accident in MP's Bhind

Bhind (MP), May 5 (Reporter) Four people died and five others were injured late Sunday night when a car and a motorcycle collided on National Highway 719, connecting Bhind and Gwalior, in the Barohi police station area, police said on Monday. The victims who lost their lives in the incident were identified as Bihari Lal Baghel (40), Sujan Singh Baghel (50), Rishikesh Baghel (22), and Mahmood (23). Five others sustained serious injuries. The police said Bihari Lal Baghel, his uncle Sujan Singh Baghel, and Rishikesh Baghel from Kathma village were returning from a “Faldan” ceremony in Bhind on a motorcycle when a speeding car hit their bike. The impact was so severe that the three bike riders fell to the ground and died instantly. The car driver also lost control and overturned, resulting in the death of Mahmood, who was a passenger in the car. MLA Narendra Singh Kushwah, who was traveling from Gwalior to Bhind at the time of the incident, stopped his vehicle and rushed to help the injured. He informed the police and assisted in sending the injured to the hospital. Later, he visited the hospital and instructed the doctors to provide proper treatment to the injured.
