Four feared dead as chimney collapses at Chhattisgarh steel plant

Mungeli. Jan 9 (Reporter) At least four persons were feared dead and around 25 people trapped under the debris after a chimney collapsed at Kusum Smelters Steel Plant, located in Rambord village of Mungeli district of Chhattisgarh on Thursday. The incident occurred at the Kusum Plant in Saragaon, about 50 km from the state capital Raipur. Unconfirmed reports, however, claimed that at least seven people were killed in the accident. On receiving information about the incident, police and officials of the district administration rushed to the spot. One of the injured worker was taken to the hospital for treatment. The number of deaths has not yet been officially confirmed. Efforts are on to rescue the people trapped under the debris, official sources said...////...
