New Delhi, Dec 24 (Reporter) Former Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla was on Tuesday appointed as Governor of Manipur. Besides Bhalla, President Droupadi Murmu also appointed Governors for the states of Bihar, Odisha, Kerala and Mizoram, a President's Secretariat statement said. The President also accepted the resignation of Raghubar Das as Governor of Odisha and appointed Mizoram Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati in his place. Governor of Kerala Arif Mohammed Khan was appointed as Governor of Bihar replacing Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar who will be the new Governor of Kerala. The President has also appointed former Army chief General Vijay Kumar Singh, as Governor of Mizoram replacing Hari Babu Kambhampati.
