Former Congress MP Rajesh Kumar Mishra from Varanasi joins BJP

New Delhi, Mar 5 (Reporter) Former Congress MP from Varanasi, Rajesh Kumar Mishra on Tuesday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party headquarters here. Rajesh Kumar crossed over to the saffron party in the presence of BJP national general secretary Arun Singh, and its senior leaders Ravi Shankar Prasad and Anil Baluni. After joining BJP, Rajesh said: " It is a matter of good fortune that (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi is the MP of Varanasi. Modi ji has brought glory to the country all over the world". Mishra was an MP from Varanasi between 2004 and 2009. He was also a Congress candidate for the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from Varanasi Cantonment seat...////...
