Prayagraj, Feb 17 (Reporter) Maha Kumbh, probably the world's largest spiritual gathering, is witnessing an ocean of faith and an extraordinary integration of world-class healthcare services.
The temporary hospital set up in Maha Kumbh Nagar has astonished devotees from across India and visitors from abroad. Citizens from countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Israel have hailed the medical services here as the best in the world.
In the record book of the Central Hospital, they have officially acknowledged that the healthcare infrastructure created by the Yogi government in Prayagraj is unparalleled globally. As of Monday evening, more than 7.5 lakh devotees have received medical care at Maha Kumbh, with significant contributions from AIIMS Delhi and IMS BHU experts.
Catenian Davidson from the UK, who received treatment at the Central Hospital of Maha Kumbh, expressed his astonishment at the exceptional medical facilities. He said that he had never seen such advanced healthcare services in a temporary hospital before, not even in his own country.
Similarly, Israel's Deitch praised the medical centres across Maha Kumbh Nagar, including the Central Hospital, for their state-of-the-art facilities and thorough patient examinations with remarkable efficiency.
London’s Neckel commended ICU in-charge Dr Siddharth Pandey and his team, sharing his gratitude for the timely treatment of his brother. "We are completely satisfied with the medical care provided here. Mahakumbh has showcased India’s best healthcare services," he said.
Australia's Daniel also lauded the health infrastructure, calling it highly impressive. He emphasised that the Central Hospital has reinforced the significance of the world's largest spiritual gathering.
Meanwhile, Supreme Court Judge Animesh Gupta applauded the Yogi government for deploying a team of expert doctors and ensuring world-class medical facilities.
Sharing his personal experience, a devotee from Delhi, Vasu, said, "I had come with my family to take a dip in the Sangam when my sudden health condition worsened. People advised us to visit the Central Hospital, where expert doctors immediately attended to me, conducted a thorough examination, and provided the necessary treatment. I felt relieved and returned with my family. The arrangements made by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for Maha Kumbh are unparalleled in the country."
