Amethi (UP), June 9 (Reporter) Five persons were killed and six others were injured when an SUV rammed into a tree after hitting a motorcycle in Munshiganj area of Amethi district here in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, police sources said here. Police sources said that the incident took place near Jamo-Bhadar crossing where the SUV coming from Sultanpur rammed into the tree after hitting the motorcycle, "Three persons on motorcycle identified as Durgesh Upadhyaya, his sister Vandana and her son Devansh (7) were killed on the spot," they said. Police sources said that the injured were taken to the district hospital where two women identified as Shahnoor and Shabnam were declared dead by the doctors. "Three injured, having serious injuries, have been referred to Lucknow for treatment," they said.
