Bangkok, Jan 2 (Reporter) Five people were killed and 30 others injured in a tourist bus accident in Surat Thani Province, Thailand, the Thai Rat newspaper reported. According to the report, the bus, which had been hired by a group of residents of Samut Sakhon Province near Bangkok for a trip to Yala Province in southern Thailand, skidded off the road during a sharp turn in Surat Thani, crashed into a tree and overturned. Five passengers died on the spot, while 30 others were injured and taken to nearby hospitals for medical care.
