CM Dr. Yadav said addiction sets back the happiness and prosperity of families, society, and the nation. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat’ Abhiyan five years ago, and the state government is making every possible effort to achieve the resolution of a drug-free Madhya Pradesh. Liquor shops and bars are banned in 19 religious areas of the state. The police successfully conducted the ‘Nashe Se Doori Hai Zaroori’ campaign from July 15 to July 31. The police are tightening their grip on the masterminds of the drug trade. The efforts are underway to raise social awareness for a drug-free Madhya Pradesh, along with strict law enforcement. The government is determined to root out the menace of drugs from society. Bhopal Police have taken firm action against the accused involved in illegal drug trade, and such action will continue regardless of the accused’s influence or reach.

CM Dr. Yadav was addressing the state-level mass oath-taking ceremony for a drug-free society, organised at Ravindra Bhavan’s Hansdhwani Auditorium on the fifth anniversary of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan on Wednesday.
