Tirupati, July 3 (Reporter) A major fire broke out near the premises of the famous Govindarajaswamy temple in Tirupati today morning. The fire reportedly originated from a shop located in front of the temple and quickly spread, engulfing the entire shop. The blaze also caused the canopies in front of the temple to catch fire, increasing the risk of a larger accident. Two shops were completely gutted in the incident. The sudden outbreak triggered panic among devotees, who fled the area. Three fire tenders reached the spot and successfully doused the flames.
