Fire breaks out due to LPG gas leakage in Poonch, mother, and 7-month-old baby die

Jammu, Jan 21 (Reporter) A mother and her seven-month-old baby died of severe burn injuries caused by a fire that broke out due to LPG gas leakage in the Mandi area of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir. Police said due to gas leakage, the regulator of the domestic cylinder caught fire, which spread into the room. "No explosion took place but the woman namely Shazia Kouser and her 7-month-old baby of village Jagrola, tehsil Mandi, received critical burn injuries," said police. They said that the duo was charred to death on the spot. The police team along with locals and firefighters rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
