Chandigarh, Dec 08 (Reporter) Haryana police on Sunday said that without identification and permission, farmers won't be allowed to move forward towards New Delhi. A Haryana police official on the Shambhu border told media persons that the list of farmers provided to them did not match with the farmers who approached them on Sunday. He said that farmers won't be allowed to move forward without proper identification and permission from Delhi police to enter New Delhi for their agitational program. On the other hand, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher alleged that the police were lying. He said that the same people had gone to the border, whose names were provided in the list. Pandher said that if the police had intended to check the identity of farmers, they should have told them earlier. He alleged that the police were adamant about stopping farmers. "If they have no intention to allow farmers to move forward, why insist on checking?", he asked. He also said that farmers' agitation has been peaceful and disciplined and added that the solution to farmers' problems was with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and either he should solve them or farmers be allowed to march towards New Delhi.
