Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has taken a serious stance on preventive measures against ‘Melioidosis,’ a fatal disease with symptoms similar to tuberculosis, which has raised concern among paddy farmers. He directed the Principal Secretaries of Health and Agriculture to jointly ensure proper measures for diagnosis, treatment and prevention. The Chief Minister said that the health and prosperity of farmers and the public are the government’s top priorities. The Madhya Pradesh government is committed to safeguarding the interests of the poor, farmers, and disadvantaged sections of society.
