Kushinagar (UP), Nov 1 (Reporter)Senior BJP member and a two-time MLA of Bharatiya Jan Sangh Narain alias Bhulai Bhai has passed away after a prolonged illness. He was 111. Family sources on Friday said Bhulai Bhai passed away on Thursday evening at his ancestral house. He joined politics after leaving the job of Basic Shiksha Adhikari. Sources said that Bhulai Bhai, a resident of Pagar village under Ramkola police station, was an MLA from the Naurangia Assembly constituency from 1974 to 1977 on Janasangha ticket. He was again elected to the state Assembly in 1977 During the Corona period, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Bhulai Bhai and inquired about his health. Later, the Home Minister also met him when he came to Lucknow. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the demise of the senior BJP member and described his death as an irreparable loss for the party. The Chief Minister paid tribute to him. Taking to his social media platform X, the Chief Minister wrote his contributions will always be remembered. In a message, the Chief Minister prayed that his soul may rest in peace. He also prayed to God to give strength to his family and supporters during this difficult time.
