Moradabad (UP), June 8 (Reporter) A former district president of Samajwadi Party (SP) shot himself and committed suicide in Majhola area of Moradabad district here in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, police sources said here. Police sources said that former district president of SP Dharm Pal Yadav shot himself with a pistol at his Buddhi Vihar residence and committed suicide this morning. "Majhola police along with the forensic team reached the spot and launched an investigation," they said. Police sources said that no suicide note was recovered from the spot. "The reason behind the suicide is not clear," they said. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLC Jaipal Singh Mast, SP district president Jaiveer Singh Yadav and several other leaders reached the Buddhi Vihar residence of the former district president.
