Vijayawada, Jan 6 (Reporter) Former Cricketer Ambati Rayudu on Saturday quit the ruling YSR Congress Party in Andhra Pradesh. Taking to 'X', Rayudu said “This is to inform everyone that I have decided to quit the YSRCP and stay out of politics for a little while. Further action will be conveyed in due course of time.” Ambati Rayudu retired from the Indian Premier League (IPL) after his team CSK’s win in May 2003. Later he joined the ruling YSRCP on December 28 last year in the presence of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Sources said that Ambati Rayudu wanted to contest the Lok Sabha seat from the Guntur Constituency but the CM refused to give him party ticket...////...
