Ex-BJP MLA Neelam Karvariya passes away after prolonged illness in UP

Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), Sep 27 (Reporter) Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Neelam Karvariya passed away here after a prolonged illness. She was around 50 and is survived by her two daughters and a son. Sources said that Neelam Karvariya was suffering from liver cirrhosis. She was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad where preparations were underway for her liver transplantation. When her health deteriorated two days ago, she was put on ventilator support on Thursday but there was no improvement in her health and she breathed her last late at night yesterday. She had won from Meja assembly constituency in 2017 on the BJP ticket. In 2022, she lost the election to Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate Sandeep Patel. Sources said that her body will be brought here from Hyderabad in the evening...////...
