Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that conforming to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s initiative, an important decision was taken today to utilize the water streams of Chambal-Parvati-Kalisindh for Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been formalized between the two states to commence this transformative project. This agreement promises enhanced drinking water and irrigation facilities across 13 districts, including Morena, Gwalior, Sheopur, and Rajgarh. With every drop of water slated for efficient use in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, this initiative marks a pivotal moment in the developmental journey of both states. Valued at Rs 72,000 crores, this project heralds a historic milestone for Madhya Pradesh, embodying both innovation and the collaborative spirit of federal governance in our nation..
