Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that, as per Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision, the welfare of the poor, youth, farmers, and women empowerment remains the top priority of the state government. He directed that the increased allocation for Madhya Pradesh in the Union Budget 2025-26 be fully utilized to implement various welfare programs effectively.
Since the state has declared 2025 as the "Year of Industry," all relevant institutions must align their activities with market demands to promote entrepreneurship and skill development among youth. Additionally, healthcare and education services must be delivered sensitively at the village level.
Dr. Yadav discussed the implementation of various schemes and programs based on the newly announced provisions and increased allocations in existing schemes under the Union Budget. The discussions took place at Samta Bhavan (Chief Minister’s residence) with officials.
The Chief Minister also stressed the need for infrastructural development—such as roads, drinking water, electricity supply, and sewage systems—in urban local bodies and gram panchayats near major cities. This is to ensure a smooth and comfortable life for the growing urban population.
Furthermore, he highlighted the need to utilize additional resources provided under the National Mission on Natural Farming to develop Madhya Pradesh as a model state for natural farming. Farmers should also be encouraged to explore alternative crops instead of peanut, mustard, and summer moong.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain, Principal Secretary (Finance) Shri Manish Rastogi, and other Additional Chief Secretaries and Principal Secretaries from various departments..
