Emergency in 1975 a blot on history: Tarun Chug

Srinagar, June 28 (Reporter) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary Tarun Chug on Friday called the emergency imposed by the then Congress government at the Centre in 1975 a “blot on history”. People of the country are organising programs across the country remembering this chapter of the Congress, Chug said during a meeting with the party leaders here. Chugh targeted the Congress for the Emergency, and said that programmes are being held across the country against the Emergency, reflecting on how Congress exploited the Constitution of India for "personal gain". Chug said it is the same Congress which dissolved elected state governments and exploited the Constitution of India for its gain...////...
