Kolkata, Dec 11 (Reporter) EEPC India on Wednesday congratulated Sanjay Malhotra on his appointment as the 26th Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Welcoming the Government's move, EEPC India Chairman Pankaj Chadha said that the new RBI Governor carries a wealth of knowledge and exceptional leadership skills. "The government has made an excellent choice in appointing Malhotra as RBI Governor for a three-year term. With over 30 years of experience in both state and central governments working in senior positions, Malhotra would significantly contribute towards the country's monetary policy," Chadha said. He noted, " Malhotra has a proven track record across various sectors especially in the finance and taxation sphere which would certainly bring fresh ideas and thinking while formulating the monetary policy.
