ECI launches ‘Myth vs Reality Register’ portal on misinformation in General Elections 2024

Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan informed that The Election Commission of India (ECI) has introduced a "Myth vs Reality Register" a significant measure to combat mis-information and uphold the integrity of the electoral process in the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024. This initiative aims to address and dispel misconceptions surrounding the electoral procedures. It was launched by Chief Election Commissioner Shri Rajeev Kumar, Election Commissioner Shri Gyanesh Kumar and Shri Sukhbir Singh Sandhu at Nirvachan Sadan, New Delhi. “Myth vs Reality Register” is available on the website of Election Commission of India (https://mythvsreality.eci.gov.in/). The factual matrix of the register will be updated regularly.
