New Delhi, Sep 24 (Reporter) External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday evening held talks with visiting new French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, who took over the reins of the French Foreign Ministry just a day ago. In a post on X, the EAM said the two held talks on bilateral issues and also exchanged views on major regional issues. “A warm conversation with my new counterpart @jnbarrot from France on our strategic partnership. “A useful exchange of views on major regional issues.” French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot took over from his predecessor, Stéphane Séjourné on Monday (Sep 23).
