EAM holds slew of bilateral meetings on sidelines of UNGA

New York/New Delhi, Sep 24 (Reporter) External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday held bilateral meetings with his counterparts and senior political leaders of several countries, including Yemen, Malta, Venezuela and Panama, on the sidelines of the UNGA in New York. On his meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Malta Ian Borg, the EAM said the two shared their perspectives on contemporary issues and taking forward their bilateral ties. “Nice to meet DPM & FM @DeputyPMIanBorg of Malta in New York today. “Shared perspectives on contemporary issues, and taking forward our bilateral ties.” On his meeting with the Foreign Minister of Panama Javier Martínez-Acha Vásquez on the sidelines of the UNGA, the EAM said they discussed deepening their partnership in pharmaceuticals, health, education, capacity building and trade. “Great to meet FM @javierachapma of Panama today on sidelines of #UNGA79. “Discussed deepening our partnership in pharmaceuticals, health, education, capacity building and trade.
