The state government has extended the due date of short-term crop loans distributed in the procurement 2023 season only to farmers related to procurement and fixed it as May 31, 2024. Earlier this date was fixed as 30th April. Instructions have also been issued regarding the continuation of the scheme of providing short-term crop loans to farmers at zero percent interest rate in the year 2023-24 under the Interest Subsidy Scheme on Short-Term Loans to Farmers through Government Banks. The Cooperative Department has issued orders to extend the due date of short-term crop loans distributed under the scheme in Kharif 2023 season from March 28, 2024 to April 30, 2024.
