Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that truly, art of drama is unique. Through dramas, the present generation receives knowledge about the glorious personalities of Indian history. The Chief Minister inaugurated the six-day Harihar National Drama Festival organised at Ravindra Bhavan with the support of Madhya Pradesh School of Drama, an institution of the Department of Culture. On this occasion, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Smt. Krishna Gaur, Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Backward Classes Welfare Commission Shri Ramkrishna Kusmaria, former Rajya Sabha member Shri Raghunandan Sharma, Principal Secretary Culture Shri Shivshekhar Shukla, Director of National School of Drama Shri Chittaranjan Tripathi, Film Censor Board member Ms. Vani Tripathi and other guests were present.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that it is a coincidence that he comes from the city of Harihar. He said that all dimensions of Natya Shastra are included in the fourteen vidyas and sixty-four kalas of Lord Shri Krishna. Ujjain is such a city where Lord Shri Krishna received his education and also it has the blessing of being the city of Mahakal. The events held in Ujjain during Shravan month, Kartik month, and other occasions are unique. In our history, while there are discouraging examples of the nation becoming weak, there is also evidence of us being powerful. Foreign invaders destroyed revered places and took idols to other countries, but it is also true that our brave and patriotic rulers brought back those symbols to the nation.
