Amritsar, May 27 (Reporter) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Monday accused Home Minister Amit shah of "openly threatening" to topple the Punjab government run by his party and warned him not to "threaten" Punjabis who would then not let him even enter the state. Responding to Shah's all-out attack against the state's AAP dispensation, Kejriwal said "What he meant to say was that after June 4, we will topple the Punjab government by buying or breaking the AAP MLAs. "Punjabis have a big heart, if you ask them for something with love, they will definitely give it toyou, but do not threaten Punjabis. If they get Engry, they will not let you even enter Punjab," the Delhi Chief Minister told Shah. Addressing the 'Vyapar Karobari milni' (meeting with Businessmen and traders) in Amritsar, Kejriwal told the commission agents (Arhtiyas) of Punjab that PM Minister Narendra Modi calls them 'Middlemen'. "But we consider you the backbone of our economy. We have great respect for you." He said just as farmers and labourers are important for the development of the country, traders and businessmen and industrialists also play important roles.. "The economy of any country cannot be strong without industry. Industrialists contribute the most to the country's economy." He appealed to the gathering to ensure AAP won all the 13 seats from the state in the June 1 Lok Sabha election. "Then we will solve all the issues related to the Central Government and also get all the pending funds released. Kejriwal said the country's Constitution and democracy are in danger due to the ruling BJP's dictatorship. "If we do not defeat Narendra Modi this time, then the country's democracy and Constitution will be destroyed. Then the situation in the country will become like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Russia." Buttressing his allegation, he said former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was put in jail during the elections in the neighbouring country, due to which his seats decreased. "In Bangladesh too, Sheikh Hasina put all the opposition leaders in jail during the elections, and became the Prime Minister again. Similarly, in Russia, President Vladimir Putin put the opposition leaders in jail and got some of them killed, and then he became the President with 87 percent votes," he said.
