Diwali Bonanza: No NOC will be required for registration of land in Punjab

Chandigarh, Oct 24 (Reporter) In a Diwali Bonanza to the residents of the state, the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has abolished the condition of NOC for the registration of plots. The Chief Minister profusely thanked Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria for according the consent to the Punjab Apartment and Property Regulation (Amendment) Act, 2024 to do away with the practice of No Objection Certificate (NOC) for registration of land deeds. He said that the Punjab assembly had given consent to this bill on September 3 after which the Governor cleared it today. Mann said that this amendment aims to ensure stringent control over the illegal colonies besides giving relief to the small plot holders...////...
