On the instructions of Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan, Commissioner Gwalior Dr. Sudam Khade has suspended District Treasury Officer, Ashoknagar Shri Jitendra Kumar Arya with immediate effect. Shri Arya has been suspended for acting arbitrarily and carelessly in an important task like election by disobeying the orders and instructions given by the Election Commission of India, State Government and senior officials. During the suspension period, the headquarters of the District Treasury Officer will be Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Ashoknagar and he will be eligible for subsistence allowance. The charge of District Treasury Officer has been given to District Pension Officer Ashoknagar Shri Ravindra Suryavanshi.
