Dhaka Metro to resume operations in 4-5 days

Dhaka, Aug 20 (Reporter) Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited on Tuesday said the halted metro services in Bangladesh's capital will resume in the next four to five days, media reports said. The resumption of metro operations got delayed due to a workers' strike that entailed prolonged negotiations, reported the Dhaka Tribune. During the shutdown called by quota reform protesters a police box was set ablaze at Mirpur 10, forcing authorities to halt metro services due to security reasons.
