Delhi Government approaches SC regarding water problem in National Capital

New Delhi, May 31 (Reporter) A petition has been filed by the Delhi Government in the Supreme Court seeking directions to provide additional water to Delhi from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh for a month. The petition states, "Delhi's need for water has increased in the scorching heat. It is everyone's responsibility to fulfil the needs of the country's capital”. The petition has been filed by Cabinet Minister Atishi. The petitioner has accused Haryana of not releasing Delhi’s share of water. The petition has not been listed in the Supreme Court registry yet and is likely to come up before the vacation bench any time in the next week...////...
