Delegations from Sri Lanka and Philippines observe voting process

To observe and understand the process of Lok Sabha Elections-2024, an 11-member delegation from Sri Lanka and the Philippines reached various polling stations in Bhopal and Vidisha parliamentary constituencies on Tuesday and witnessed the voting process. They reached several polling stations including State Level Veterinary Centre, Model School TT Nagar, Anand Vihar School, Model ITI Govindpura, Rafiqganj, Dhaboti, Jahangirpura, Kankarkheda, Bhaukhedi and witnessed the voting proceedings and obtained detailed information about it. Joint Chief Electoral Officer Shri Manoj Khatri and other officials apprised about the entire election process step by step to the international delegation during their visit to the polling stations. They informed them about other election related processes including EVM, VVPAT, polling team formation, election monitoring, security arrangements of polling stations. During this period, election officers of the respective districts were present.
