Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav chaired the meeting of the Cabinet held in Mantralaya today. The Cabinet decided to upgrade 12 thousand 670 mini Anganwadi centers currently operating in the state to full-fledged Anganwadi centres. It may be noted here that there is a provision for one Anganwadi worker in Mini Anganwadi centres. As per the decision, after the upgradation of these mini Anganwadi centres, there will be one post of Anganwadi worker and one post of Anganwadi Sahayika. A total of 476 supervisor posts at the rate of one supervisor for 25 upgraded Anganwadi centres were approved. The standards set by the Central Government will apply to the upgraded Anganwadi centres.
