Chennai, Feb 26 (Reporter) With the kick off of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket carnival less than a month away, former India and five-time champion Chennai Super Kings(CSK) skipper MS Dhoni landed in Chennai on Wednesday evening for pre-season training, beginning tomorrow. Clad in a black t-shirt and sunglasses, Dhoni, popularly called as 'Thala' was escorted out of the airport by a large posse of security officers. "Thala Dharisanam (A glimpse of Thala)...#Whistle Podu #Den coming"," CSK posted in X, tagging the photo of iconic Dhoni's arrival. Other members of the CSK including skipper Rituraj Gaikwad too will take part in the 10-day pre-season training camp at the CSK High-Performance Centre at suburban Navalur. Dhoni was retained by CSK as an uncapped player in the 2025 auction for Rs four crores.
