Amritsar, Nov 22 (Reporter) In a breakthrough, Amritsar Commissionerate Police (CP) busts a trans-border arms smuggling module with the arrest of 6 associates of a foreign-based handler. Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said on Friday that on social media X, the preliminary investigation reveals, that the arrested accused have been in contact with a foreign-based smuggler, who has been pushing huge consignments of weapons into Indian territory through drones and other means. He said 10 sophisticated weapons (3 Glock 9MM Pistol, (Made in Austria), 7 Pistol .32 bore) and 10 live cartridges were recovered from their possession.
