Bareilly (UP), Mar 13 (Reporter) A fast track court on Wednesday issued another non-bailable warrant (NBW) against Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC) chief Maulana Tauqeer Raza and directed the police to produce him on March 19, prosecution sources said here.
Prosecution sources said that the Fast Track court of Additional District Judge (ADJ) Ravi Kumar Diwakar after the police failed to produce Tauqeer Raza despite previous NBW. The court has sent a copy of the warrant to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and the District Magistrate (DM) for immediate compliance, they said.
Prosecution sources said that the court has said that a copy should be sent to Directoi General of Police (IG) Bareilly zone with the intent that he should ensure the execution of NBW under his supervision and present Tauqeer Raza before the court on March 19.
It may be noted that the court had summoned Tauqeer Raza, the main accused in 2010 Bareilly riots, on March 11. However, Inspector Prem Nagar Ashutosh Raghuvanshi failed to serve the summon after which the court issued NBW and directed the Circle Officer (CO) to produce him on March 13...////...
