Congress leaders and workers said not to ally with AAP: Davinder Yadav

Jalandhar, Jan 24 (Reporter) Punjab Congress in-charge Devinder Yadav on Wednesday said Congress leaders and workers were opposed to an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Asked about former state party chief Navjot Singh Sidhu not coming to the meeting, he said the entire leadership of the Congress was present. He said that he has discussed with the Congress High Command regarding the alliance with AAP. without taking Sidhu's name, Yadav warned that most of the workers in Punjab complained that action is taken against small leaders who break discipline and not big leaders. "I will tell the party high command. No leader has the right to break party discipline. Whether he is a big leader or a small one," said Yadav. He said Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge will visit Punjab on February 11. The venues of his programes were yet to be decided...////...
