Cong removes HP MLA Sudhir Sharma from AICC secretary post

New Delhi, Mar 6 (Reporter) The Congress on Wednesday took strict action against Himachal Pradesh MLA Sudhir Sharma, who had cross-voted during the recently held Rajya Sabha elections and removed him from the post of AICC secretary. Giving this information, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal in a statement said "party president Mallikarjun Kharge has removed Sudhir Sharma from the post with immediate effect". It is noteworthy that in Himachal Pradesh, six Congress MLAs including Sudhir Sharma had cross-voted in the Rajya Sabha elections.
