New Delhi, Mar 12 (Reporter) The Congress on Tuesday released the second list of 43 candidates for Lok Sabha elections, from Assam, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Daman Diu and Madhya Pradesh.
Among the 43 candidates includes the names of Gaurav Gogoi from Jorhat Assam, Nakul Nath to contest from Chindwara in Madhya Pradesh and Rahul Kaswan who joined the Congress on Monday after quitting the BJP from Chindwara.
Addressing a press conference here, party general secretary K C Venugopal said that the 2024 Lok Sabha election will be fought on the basis of poor versus rich.
“Our guarantee is to address the issues of youth, farmers, women, SCs and STs. Our agenda is people's agenda while the BJP's divisive agenda,” Venugopal said.
Earlier on March 8, the Congress had released the first list comprising of 39 candidates...////...
