New Delhi, Sep 1 (Reporter) The Congress legal department led by its chairman Abhishek Manu Singhvi held its meeting at the All India Congress Committee headquarters here on Sunday, in which decentralization of the department to the block level and other structural reforms were discussed. Talking to media persons after the meeting, Singhvi said, "It's a great honour to head this newly-constituted department. I have very fond memories of doing that 15 years ago. We are galvanizing and we had a very productive, a very comprehensive meeting". He said, "In the last five years, any number of complaints have been dealt with both Election Commission (EC) related and non-EC related. We want to focus especially on the role of the department and social media, where fake news is rampant". "We are going to create rapid response teams. We are talking of a lot of other organised structural reform. Decentralisation is a very major object right down to the district level. I want to say ‘Tehsil’ at the moment," Singhvi said.
