Hyderabad, Feb 5 (Reporter) Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) has accused the Congress government of making false promises regarding its Backward Class (BC) declaration, calling it "100 percent false" and alleging that the government's commitment is "100 percent fake."
Taking to Twitter (X) on Wednesday KTR stated that Tuesday's Telangana Assembly session made two things clear to the people: the Congress government, which has been in power for a year, has failed completely and lacks clarity on its policies.
He accused the Congress of spreading lies in the name of the BC declaration and claimed that the state government itself was unclear about the data it presented in the Assembly. He further alleged that the Congress party has no genuine intention of providing 42 percent reservation to BCs in local bodies.
KTR criticised the Congress for taking a "shameless U-turn" on reservations and trying to shift the blame onto the central government. He also alleged that all election promises, guarantees, and declarations made by Rahul Gandhi had been exposed as fake.
"Rahul Gandhi, who has been spreading lies solely for electoral gains, should change his name to 'Election Gandhi,'" KTR remarked.
Reiterating his stance, he said, "Congress' BC declaration is 100 percent false, and this government's commitment is 100 percent fake...////...
