New Delhi, Sep 25 (Reporter) The Congress on Wednesday slammed BJP MP Kangana Ranaut for her statement on the three farm laws and said that such a comment was an 'insult to the martyrdom of farmers' and asked the BJP to take strict action against her.
Talking to the media at the AICC headquarters here, Gujarat PCC president Shaktisinh Gohil said, "Kangana Ranaut's statement is an insult to the martyrdom of farmers, but the BJP has not taken any action on her statement yet.".
"Every time distancing yourself from her statement won't work; rather, there should be expulsion for such statements," he said.
He said that the Congress demands that "Kangana should be expelled from the BJP.".
"If she is not expelled, it will be considered that BJP and Prime Minister Modi are insulting the martyrdom of farmers and the PM is conspiring to bring back the three black laws to benefit his friends," Gohil said.
It may be mentioned that earlier today, Kangana Ranaut withdrew her remarks that she had given yesterday against the three farm laws, saying they were "personal" and did not represent the stand of her party...////...
