Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam must accelerate its activities and complete all ongoing construction works at the earliest. He was addressing the 25th Board Meeting of the MP Jal Nigam on Monday at the Ministry. The Chief Minister approved various proposals presented during the meeting. Public Health Engineering Minister Smt. Sampatiya Uikey was also present.
CM Dr. Yadav approved the proposal to appoint PHE Minister Smt. Uikey as the Women's Director on the Board of MP Jal Nigam. He also approved authorizing the Managing Director to represent the Jal Nigam in the project company formed to develop a 100 MW grid-mounted solar photovoltaic power project under captive mode. Officials informed that the project is being developed on approximately 315 acres in the Mandsaur district under the Department of New and Renewable Energy.
The Chief Minister also approved the proposal for MP Jal Nigam (Limited) to hold a 26% equity share in the project company developing the 100 MW solar photovoltaic project under captive mode.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav approved the budget of the corporation for the financial year 2025–26. He also approved the proposal regarding the unaudited annual accounts for 2023–24 and granted post-facto approval for the appointment of a firm selected by the CAG as the statutory auditor for 2024–25.
