Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that the newly developed and dedicated CM Rise School in Badnagar will be named after Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, as a tribute to the former Prime Minister who received his early education at this very institution. Speaking at the dedication ceremony of the school building, constructed at a cost of over ₹40 crore in Badnagar, Ujjain district, on Sunday, Dr. Yadav highlighted the importance of honoring public sentiments when naming villages and cities. He said that Gajnikhedi Panchayat will now be renamed Chamunda Mata, Jahangirpur will be known as Jagdishpur, and Maulana village will be renamed as Vikram Nagar. He emphasized that these changes, , reflect the government’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and aligning with public sentiment.
