CM Majhi announces 2 percent DA hike for Odisha Government employees, pensioners

Bhubaneswar, Apr 11 (Reporter) Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday announced a 2 percent increase in the Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees. With this hike, the DA has risen from 53 percent to 55 percent Official sources stated that the revised DA will be implemented retrospectively from January 1, 2025. The increased DA amount will be paid in cash along with the salary for April. Additionally, the T.I. (Temporary Increase) for pensioners has also been raised by 2 percent. Pensioners will receive the revised T.I. in their April pension. This decision will benefit approximately 8.5 lakh government employees and pensioners in the state...////...
