Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited many historical places during his visit to Chanderi in Ashoknagar district today. CM Dr. Yadav arrived at Baiju Bawra's Samadhi and Jauhar Memorial located at Kila Kothi and paid tributes. He reached Laxman Temple in Chanderi and performed worship. He also, visited Handloom Park in Chanderi and interacted with the weavers. During this, the Chief Minister also held a road show in the city, the citizens welcomed the CM by showering flowers. The Chief Minister greeted the citizens. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Chanderi's Jauhar Memorial is a golden chapter in the country's glorious history which is a symbol of the glory and purity of the mother power. The CM paid his respects at the Jauhar Memorial and also saluted those 1600 Kshatranis including Rani Manimala, who had committed Jauhar on 29 January 1528 to protect the honour and self-respect of the mother power.
