Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that many development projects in Gwalior are rapidly taking shape. With the construction of a six-lane expressway from Gwalior to Agra, there will be no difference in connectivity between Gwalior and Delhi. Along with this, major infrastructure projects including the Western Bypass will contribute not only to physical development but also to the economic advancement of Gwalior. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed the inauguration ceremony of the Vivekananda Needam Railway Overbridge (ROB) in Gwalior virtually from Bhopal. He congratulated the residents of Gwalior on this gift and said that the central government has given another major project in the form of the Western Bypass. Among the four major roads approved by the central government at a cost of over Rs 4,000 crore in the state, Gwalior’s Western Bypass is included.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav added that along with the railway overbridge, Gwalior has also received the gift of hostels. Two 50-seater girls’ hostels will provide residential facilities for Scheduled Caste girls pursuing education in Gwalior. Dr. Yadav stated that continuous development is taking place under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is also scheduled to visit Anandpur Dham in Ashoknagar district on April 11.
