Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reviewed the law and order situation on Tuesday from the Situation Room at Mantralaya in the context of the explosion that occurred in Delhi on Monday. He obtained updates from district collectors and directed that vigilance and alertness be maintained throughout the state keeping security considerations in view.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed that strict security measures be implemented at all public places, crowded areas, religious sites and other sensitive locations across Madhya Pradesh. He emphasised the need for special attention to monitoring suspicious activities while ensuring that public life and normal routine are not disrupted.
Director General of Police Shri Kailash Makwana briefed the Chief Minister on the precautionary measures and security arrangements implemented in the state following the Delhi blast.
Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Shri Shiv Shekhar Shukla, and other senior officials were present during review in the Situation Room.
