Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, along with his wife, participated in the Parjanya ritual and performed worship on the sacred occasion of Sawan Purnima and Raksha Bandhan on Saturday, with the intent of seeking good rainfall. He had darshan of Lord Shri Mahakal and performed abhishek. The Parjanya ritual was conducted with chanting of mantras by 66 priests, praying for good rainfall in low rainfall areas. The ritual was performed under the guidance of Acharya Pt. Ghanshyam Sharma.
Before the darshan at Mahakal temple, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited Shri Keshariya Nath Manibhadra Teerth Dham located at Bherugarh and received blessings by having darshan of Lord Shri Parshvanath, Lord Mahavir Swami, and Lord Manibhadra. On this occasion, he also offered respects at the feet of saint Param Pujya Shri Ashok Sagar Surishwar Ji Maharaj, who is observing Chaturmas.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was felicitated with shawl and coconut prasad by Collector and Chairman of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee Shri Roshan Kumar Singh. On this occasion, MLA Shri Anil Jain Kaluheda, Shri Sanjay Agrawal, Shri Om Jain, and others were present.
