CM Dr. Yadav Lauds Innovation of Making Indigenous Diyas from Cow Dung in Indore

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav appreciated an innovative initiative in Indore where indigenous diyas are being made from cow dung. During his visit to Nehru Park on the occasion of National Cleanliness Day, Dr. Yadav visited an exhibition showcasing this initiative, observed diya-making machine, and gathered detailed information about the process. He lauded Indore’s efforts to promote indigenous products through this unique innovation.

Notably, under the ongoing Seva Pakhwada, Indore Collector Shri Shivam Verma has launched a special initiative aimed at bringing prosperity through the use of Swadeshi products. As part of the project, diyas made from sacred cow dung are being produced for Diwali and other festivals. Two machines have already been installed at the municipal gaushala in Hatod, with plans to install more in the coming days to enable large-scale production.
