Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and Independence Day on 15th August should be celebrated as public festivals in the state. It should be ensured that there is no shortage of tricolor flags in any ward or village, and arrangements should be made through self-help groups to ensure cent percent supply. The festivals of Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami should be celebrated in the state with enthusiasm and gaiety with a sense of social harmony. Given the ongoing rains in the state, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also gave instructions to take precautions and ensure necessary surveillance and monitoring. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the state-level video conferencing from Samatva Bhawan.
